House rules
Last updated 10 October 2026
LandOnIt is a game between people. These are the few things asked of everyone who sits down, and what happens when someone ignores them.
At the table
- No insults or harassment. Play hard, talk decently. Do not attack, threaten or pick on anyone.
- No hate. No slurs and no contempt for who someone is: origin, religion, gender, orientation, disability.
- A name and picture fit for everyone. Your name is written on the board for all to read.
- No spam. No flooding the chat, no links, no advertising.
- No cheating. No exploiting bugs, no tools that play for you, no tampering with the game. If you find a bug, tell us instead.
- No ganging up outside the rules. Trades are part of the game; handing a friend your properties to throw the match is not.
- Play your turns. Do not run the clock down every turn or walk away to spoil a match.
If someone breaks them
Every player has a small flag beside their name. Press it, pick the reason, and the report reaches the people who run the site together with the chat around it. The player is not told who reported them. You can hide a player's chat at the same time.
The host of a room can also remove a player before a match starts, and close the room to newcomers.
Depending on what happened, an account or a connection can be suspended for a day, a week, or for good. Reports made to get at someone are themselves against these rules.
The small print
- The game is free and offered as it is, with no promise that it is always available or free of faults. Matches, points and accounts can be lost and may be reset.
- Points have no value outside the game and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged.
- LandOnIt is an original game. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the makers of any other board game.
- What is kept about you is on the privacy page.
